The basket, with an octagonal base that gently tapers upwards, is fitted with a concrete canopy. It is made of washed stone or grit, which ensures considerable durability and resistance to weather and vandalism. Key construction materials have been used. The sturdy structure has an internal insert made of galvanised sheet metal fitted with an ashtray. The concrete canopy is rotatable and lockable with an Allen key.
