Jej zadaniem jest utrzymanie przęseł w stabilnej pozycji oraz ochrona przed przesunięciem czy przewróceniem w razie silnych podmuchów wiatru i trudnych warunków pogodowych. Płaska stopa z blachy posiada otwory montażowe umożliwiające zakotwienie przy użyciu szpilek lub śledzia kątowego, a dodatkowo podporę można obciążyć stopą betonową albo ciężką stopą PCV.
