The TALOS M50.EFO automatic post is an anti-terrorist-grade solution for the protection of sites with the highest security requirements, such as government and military sites or critical infrastructure. It works well where a clear physical barrier, fast system response and convenient operation are needed. This post is equipped with an additional feature that provides an instant, near-instantaneous lifting of the post to quickly isolate an area in the event of an emergency.

Application and function of the product

The post operates on a hydraulic drive with column locking in the extended position and emergency manual lowering. A tamper-proof lid makes it difficult to tamper with, a sealed enclosure protects components from the elements, and integrated lights and an acoustic signal improve visibility of operation. A heating module supports low-temperature operation and a control panel allows one or more posts to be operated simultaneously. The design was developed to stop a speeding vehicle and remain functional after a crash.
